JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team at the busy Hotel Mosman. You must be self motivated and outgoing with a keen eye for detail. Excellent conditions and remuneration on offer. This is a full time position for a chef looking to work in an expanding, fast paced business. Duties include but not limited to;

    • examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
    • regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
    • preparing and cooking food
    • seasoning food during cooking
    • portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
    • storing food in temperature controlled facilities
    • preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
    • may plan menus and estimate food requirements
    • may train other kitchen staff and apprentices

References are essential and evening and weekend work is required.
